How often does data update?
Kestrel pulls fresh data from stocks, prediction markets, news, and macro sources five times during market hours on trading days. Pull down on any screen to refresh manually.
Is the Sim feature real money?
No. The Simulation tab tracks hypothetical strategy performance using live market data so you can see how different approaches would have performed. No real money is ever involved, and no brokerage account is required or connected.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Kestrel works without sign-up or login. Your watchlist is saved locally on your device.
Where does the data come from?
Kestrel aggregates publicly available data from stock market feeds, Kalshi, Polymarket, news sources, Google Trends, weather services, and flight status APIs, and combines them with original AI-generated analysis identifying when multiple sources align.
